Ink and colors on silk, mounted as hanging scrolls. Two (no. 2 and no. 4) from a set of four hanging scrolls. Impressive landscape of southwest China with steep mountains and rocks in elegant green color, partly covered with pine trees. In the valley there is a scholar's studio and huts by the water. Each signed: "respectfully painted by Courtier Qian Weicheng". Two seals: "chen Weicheng", "gong hui". Each with a long commentary above, signed "Xiangshu laoren", "Xiangshu Qian Chenqun" and three seals. Each with four collector's seals.
From a southern German private collection, mostly acquired in Hong Kong and Jakarta in the 1960s and 1970s - Few short tears, water stain, partially minor wear
